Um jovem Ébano e sua família migraram para Avenches, uma cidade conhecida por ter sido erguida verticalmente em torno de uma gigantesca árvore fossilizada. Mas coisas estranhas começam a acontecer e crianças da sua vizinhança passam a desaparecer sem deixar rastros. Isso está causando um grande alvoroço e aventureiros são contratados para investigar o caso.

Essa é uma aventura criada para o originalmente para o cenário de Tordezilhas RPG.
